Audi Fashion Festival 2011, Day 2

Day 2: Parco

There are lots of things going on on Parco's runway on the 2nd day of Audi Fashion Festival in Singapore. At beginning of the show, most of the outfits are assymetrical and black and white. I thought that they would show us a very simple, monochrome yet classic pieces but my prediction totally turn 180 degrees. As the show goes on, the pieces change to bold and electric colours with futuristic theme. And then, preppy. So this is one of the show that does not produce a good show cause their pieces are all over the place and it does not flow smoothly. In my opinion, they should just do the bold and electric theme and ditch the preppy and assymetrical ones.

And the worst part is, they end the show with a bold red abstrack dress with a matching tights. So much for a successful runway show.

Audi Fashion Festival 2011, Day 1

Aaahh what can I say more. This is my favourite season of the year in Singapore: Fashion Week! Despite the facts that I'm super super busy as a freshman in Ngee Ann Polytechnic and the vice president for Enchanting Indonesia 2011, it doesn't stop me at all to do a review for Audi Fashion Festival. The models, the runways and of course, all the clothes, took my breath away! Even though I can't attend the fashion festival this year which is, as usual, held in front of Ngee Ann City, some of the review in magazines, photos, my friends's photos that they posted on facebook, make me feel like I'm sitting in the front row with Anna Wintour and Andre Leon Talley. For the trends in this fashion festival this year, I saw lots of colours, especially pink which I LOVE! I totally saw it coming tho cause It's summer anyway.

Day 1: MISSONI!
UUGGHH I really really hate myself for missing this show :( I mean the House of Missoni is in Europe and the chance of going to Paris or New York to attend the fashion week is like 1:100, so I completely fed up. Whatever :( Now, I'm gonna start with a review for Missoni's runway clothes in Audi Fashion Festival 2011

These two pieces are my favourite on the runway. The complicated stucture of the knit sweater and the combination of the soft colour is really breathtaking. I will definitely get a hot flash if I wear it in Singapore but this type of knitwear is highly recommended. The second picture on the right, the floral dress and slousy light blue jacket is a quirky, weird but at the same time, sophiticated. But what really stands out from the whole outfit is the sunglasses! ITS-TO-DIE-FOR! When I'm free, I wil straight away search for it. It will be perfect for summer time.

Leather, snake skin, mixture of colours blazer and long coat is my second favourite of the night :) If you wore this blazer or long coat, I assure you people would give a fashionable label on your forehead, Eventho that we rarely this kind of piece for summer, but if we tone it down by wearing a super hot, ripped denim shorts and a white tank top, you can still say ''Hello summer!"

It's all about the Hat on Missoni's runway. It's a great come back of this kind of hat now. We haven't seen it in quite some times since fedora pops out. I dont usually wear this kind of style, but for all of you who like to wear conservative type of clothes, you should consider of following this trend. Adding bold colours to the outfit will make you look younger and fresher as compared to safe colours such as black, white and grey. Killer high heels to end the deal is a A+.

Last but not least, the knitwears. Who is Missoni without her knitwear on her runway? I really love Missoni's latest collection cause usually, she would give more of a nature colour on her knit like dark brown, combined it with red and white. But, this time, she playes around with the softer colour, which is pink! It is the colour of the season and you couldn't gone wrong. Wearing pink will give you a sense of feminism but at the same time, a very fun personality. We can alway toughen it up a little bit by probably wearing a combat boots?

"Because the fashion family that parties together, stays together"

do we LOVE the royal hats?

Oowww, the answer is simply easy: HELL YEAH! Who doesn't want to wear a hat that says " hey, I am a bloody royalty! " hahaha. But anyway, the real reason of my obsession over the royal hats is they aree absolutely gorgeous! They are a piece of art, and yet it is still ellegant. The colours, the texture, the crazy mixture, it's to-die-for. My favourite designer for royal hat is definitely Philip Treacy which is also Kate Middleton's fave.

I'M ON YOUTUBE!

Hahahaha one afternoon, I was strutting my studded Pull&Bear's biker jacket, Topshop's bandage skirt, hot red Topshop's heels and my mom vintage Aigner bag when suddenly a guy asked me to say something in front of a video camera. Actually it was a competition to get this new phone from Motorola. We had to create a dare for ourself if we actually won the phone. The person with the most impressive or interesting dare, would be picked to do the dare and won the phone. The video that you're going to show is the proof of how much i LOVE fashion ;)

Ooow and by the way, my friend Kevin Wiyarnanda also made a pledge like I did. But, it's a different one.

This buddy of mine, for a guy, actually has a great sense of style. We have been friends for 3 years and his fashion sense is getting better and better every time I meet him. Of course despite the facts that he wears his clothes more than 3 times but still, I have to give a props for him :) When this video was taken, he was wearing a leather jacket, white v-neck shirt, skinny jeans and sneakers.
